Balls for Brains - Mental Health Support
The Club is delighted to announce that we have been chosen as one of the four Foundation Clubs with the new mental health charity Balls For Brains.
Balls For Brains are a charity that addresses mental health through rugby. It's mission is to empower players and clubs across the world, giving them the confidence to discuss and promote a better mental wellbeing for everyone.
The charity supports rugby clubs through the delivery of awareness workshops that have been put together by the charity's own mental health professionals. The workshops are supported by a two weekly podcast called Part Of The Pack.
Foundation Clubs will be invited to contribute players for the Balls For Brains RFC 15's and 7's sides that will be playing a number of fixtures each year.
As a club, we have chosen to work with this particular charity as the importance of good mental health is becoming more widely recognised and understood.
Over the next few weeks, loads more info about the #PackMinset and how you can get involved will be available via www.ballsforbrains.co.uk and become #PartOfThePack.
Congratulations to Jon Tutty, for his hardwork and foresight in the development of the charity, which stands to become a fantastic resource to the club and the rugby community.
